Section 05 SUSPENSION Sub-section 07 (DRIVE AXLE)
REMOVAL
Drain oil from chaincase or gear boxRemove chaincase coverRelease drive chain tension (if applicable)Raise and block rear of vehicle off groundRemove suspension (See section 05)

2, Sprockets
When replacing sprockets, make reference mark on the axle to facilitate reassembly of the new sprockets
4,5,10, Sealsbearing housing
Pry oil seals from chaincase and end bearing housing Remove end bearing housing and unlock drive axle end sprocket (single track models)

NOTE: If applicable, remove battery and its seatIf vehicle IS equipped with speedometer, remove angle drive unit and coupling cableAOOOOOSOO5

20,21,22, Circlip, brake disckey
On Skandic "R" models, remove brake caliper, circllp, brake disc and key before removing end bearing housing

To remove, press fit sprockets (drive axle without flange), use press and suitable support as illustrated
