10,19, Seals
At seal assembly, apply light coat of lithium grease on seal lips For bearing lubrication purpose, gap of 1.0 mm (.040") must be maintained between seals and bearingsWhen installing plain seals (seal without locating ring or without spacing legs), ensure to maintain the specified gap as illustratedFor seals with spacing legs, install them against the bearing1 mm 1040"!
NOTE: Torque the two smaller bolts (15 and 16) on magneto Side to N.m (SO Ibf.in)
1,3,8,29, Loctite 242 angular tubes (oil inletoil outlet)cover screws
Apply Loctite 242 on threads prior to assembly angular tubes and cover screws
27,31,32, Crankcase M8 Screws
Torque the crankcase MS screws to 21 Nom (15 Ibf.ft)
26, Crankcase M6 screws
Torque the crankcase M6 screws to N.m (SO Ibf.in)
1,33, Loctite 242crankcase stud
At assembly on crankcase, apply Loctite 242 on stud threads
35, Crankcaseengine bracket nut
