Install the bearings with oil seal groove as per the following illustration:
NOTE: Prior to applying Loctite 515 it is possible to use primer (PIN 413 7053001 or primer NF (PIN 4137024001This increases cure speed and gap filling capabilityRefer to supplier instructionsCAUTION: Before joining of crankcase halves be sure that crankshaft rotary valve gear is well engaged with rotary valve shaft gearPosition the crankcase halves together and torque bolts by hand, then install armature plate (tighten) on magneto side to correctly align the crankcase halvesTorque bolts to proper torque following illustrated sequence

At seal assembly, apply light coat of lithium grease on seal lipsFor bearing lubrication purpose, gap of 1.0 mm (.040") must be maintained between seals and bearingsWhen installing plain seals (seal without locating ring or without spacing legs), ensure to maintain the specified gap as illustrated
