SECTION 03 TRANSMISSION SUB-SECTION 08 (GEARBOX)
INSTALLATION
Gear box assembly
Position gasket on frame studs and place lower sprocket in drive chain Secure gearbox to frameSet the shifter lever in REVERSEInstall the shifter rod to the shifter lever
Install rear axle and bogie wheel sets to their original position
68, Chaincase oil
Fill gearbox with 450 ml (16 Impounces) of Bombardier chaincase oil
Adjustments
Shifter arm position
Set the shifter lever to NEUTRAL position, turn driven pulley clockwise and adjust shifter arm position using the adjuster screw located at the R.Htransmission cover portionThis will ensure the transmission is perfectly ad justed
