CLEANING
Discard all gasketsClean all metal components in non-ferrous metal cleanerScrape off carbon formation from cylinder exhaust port, cylinder head and piston dome using wooden spatula
ASSEMBLY
16, Piston
At assembly, place the pistons over the connecting rods with the letters AUS (over an arrow on the piston dome) facing in direction of the exhaust port
NOTE: The letters" AUS" (over an arrow on the piston dome) must be visible after cleaningEXHAUST
Clean the piston ring grooves with groove cleaner tool, or with piece of broken ring

16,17,18, Piston, gudgeon pincirclips
Place clean tool inserted pistonDrive suitable drive cloth over crankcase then with pointed in piston notch, remove circlip from the gudgeon pin out of piston using punch and hammer
NOTE: Spare parts pistons and cylinders are identified with green or red dot, it is important to match the piston with the cylinder of the same color
