To minimize the effect of acceleration forces on circlip, install each circiip so the circiip break is at o'clock as illustrated Remove any burrs on piston caused through circlip installation using very fine emery cloth
Distance nuts
Cross torque cylinder head nuts to 23 N.m (17 ftlbs) torque each cylinder head individuallyPiston notch
6, Dampers
Position noise damper as per following illustration
