SECTION 03 TRANSMISSION SUB-SECTION 02 (DRIVE BELT)
- To install the drive belt, reverse the procedure_ CAUTION: Once belt is installed, be sure to secure ", the countershaft bearing by closing the bearing cage and firmly tightening the retaining screwFor Elan, Spirit, Everest, Blizzard 5500 MX and Blizzard 9700 to remove belt from pulleys and vehicle:Open the driven pulley by twisting and pushing the sliding half Hold in fully open position
NOTE: It may be necessary to loosen the brake adjustment in order to easily lift the countershaft
