CDAt seal assembly, apply light coat of lithium grease on seal lipsFor bearing lubrication purpose, gap of 1.0 mm ('040") must be maintained between seals and bearingsWhen installing plain seals (seal without locating ring or without spacing legs), ensure to maintain the specified gap as illustrated
NOTE:: Torque the two smaller bolts (15 and 16) on magneto side to 14 N-m (10 ft-Ibs)
Apply" Loctite 242" on threads prior to assemblyTorque to 22 N.m (16 ft-Ibs)Torque to 14 N.m (10 ft-Ibs)At assembly on crankcase, apply "Loctite 242" on threadsTorque to 35 N-m (26 ft-Ibs)
Because of cap nuts, cylinder studs have to be screwed
into the crankcase so that they do not exceed further than 56.5 mm (2.22")
