CLEANING
Discard all seals and gaskets Clean all metal components in non-ferrous metal cleaner
NaTE: For the measurement proce,ures, refer to "Engine Tolerances Measurement, section 02, sub-section 07
ASSEMBLY
Prior to installation, place bearings into an oil container and heat the oil to 100 (210 F) for to 10 min This will expand bearings and ease installationInstall bearings with groove outwardNaTE: Crankshaft end-play requires adjustment only when crankshaft andor crankcase is replaced Prior to magneto side bearing installation, shim(s) on crankshaft extensionFor the crankshaft end-play adjustment procedure, refer to Engine Tolerances Measurement, section 02, sub-section 07

To remove drive pulley, refer to "Drive Pulley", section 03, sub-section 03 To remove magneto, refer to "Magneto" in this section
G) Do not remove polyamid rings unless necessaryTo remove, heat slightly with butane torch then pry out using screwdriver
