SECTION 05 SUSPEN SION SUB-SECTION 05 (TRACK)
TRACK TYPE APPLICATION
Refer to the "Technical Data" section (09-05), Remove the following items :
Everest, Futura, Blizzard, Blizzard MX, SONIC MX, ULTRA SONIC
- Speedometer cable and angle drive (if so equipped)Chaincase cover, sprockets and chainSuspensionTwo drive axle sealsChaincaseDrive axle (outwards from chaincase side)Upper center idler wheel (if applicable)Track
INSPECTION
Visually inspect track for cuts and abnormal wearInspect track for broken rodsIf excessive damage is evident and rods are broken, replace trackInspect track for damaged or missing insertsReplace damaged insert(s) WARNING: Never run vehicle with damaged track
REMOVAL
