r SECTION 03 TRANSMISSION SUB-SECTION 05 (PULLEY ALIGNMENT)
Two methods can be used to adjust offset: Drive pulley alignment (first mthod):
Remove drive pulley and add or remove shim(s) on crankshaftShim PIN 504 1057 00 (,032" thickness)_
CAUTION: Never use more than shims on crankshaftWARNING: Always torque drive pulley bolt within specifications(See Technical Data)CAUTION: The thin nut must be tightened firmly against the adjuster nut before bending the tab lock on each of the two nutsTo tighten the thin nut, use the "Snap-on" extension key noFC-40Torque thin nut to 65 Nm (48 ft-Ibs)_
Drive pulley alignment (second method):
Slide engine on its support as illustrated below
Snap-on extension key FC-40
