Remove spark plug(s) then bring P.T.Opiston at T.D.CpositionRotate drive pulley 45 clockwise then insert enough starter rope into cylinder to fill it completelyRemove the cap screw
REMOVAL
Some pulley components are marked to insure proper assemblyIf components lack such marks, marking should be done manually before disassemblyas per illustration
If it is necessary to remove inner half, proceed as follows:
On models Citation 4500 (MISS), Mirage(MISS), Nordik and Skandic use metric threads puller (PIN 529 002 800PIN 529003 000),
CAUTION: This pulley has metric threadsDo not use standard threads puller
INDEXING MARKS IN LINE
On other models use standard thread puller (PIN 529 002 100)Remove starter rope blocking piston, then reblock piston after having turned 45 counter-clockwise from T.D.Cposition; or install crankshaft locking toolInstall puller in pulley shaft then tighten, at the same time knock slightly on puller head to disengage pulley from engine crankshaft
