ASSEMBLY
To install bearing, use press to push bearing in mounting flangeAt gear assembly, apply light coat of grease on gear teeth
To bleed oil lines: IMPORTANT: Make sure all oil lines are fullIf required, bleed the inlet line and the pump by loosening the bleeder screwTo bleed the outlet lines, hold the pump lever in fully open position with the engine at idle speed until the air is bleed off ness
Always check for spring clip and clamp tight-
ADJUSTMENT
_ CAUTION: The carburetors must be adjusted before adjusting the oil injection pumpMake sure the idle speed is 1800-2000 R.P.MTo synchronize pump with carburetor: Eliminate the throttle cable free-play by pressing the throttle lever until light resistance is felt, then hold in placeThe aligning marks on the pump casting and on the lever must alignIf not, loosen the adjuster nut and adjust accordinglyTighten the adjuster nut(TYPICAU
