SECTION 02 ENGINE SUB-SECTION 04 (454 ENGINE TYPE)
Position the crankcase halves together and torque bolts by hand, then install armature plate (tighten) on magneto side to correctly align crankcase halvesTorque bolts to 22 N-m (16 ft-Ibs) following illustrated sequence
Follow sequence shown to 1422 N.m (16 ft-Ibsl 151614 N.m (10 ft-Ibsl
NOTE: Torque the two smaller bolts (15 and 16) on magneto side to 14 N-m (10 ft-Ibs)
00 Apply "Loctite 242" on threads prior to assem-
