REMOVAL
Remove the suspension, brake caliper ass'y, air intake silencerbelt guard and drive beltRemove the shaft protector plateRemove the chaincase ass'y (chaincase cover, sprockets, chain, drive axle sealchaincase)
INSTALLATION
Reinstall the countershaft and bearing assyReinstall the chaincase011 sealsprocketsdrive chaintab locksTorque sprocket retaining bolts to Nom (7 ft-Ibs)Bend tab locksTighten bearing collar against bearing seat until well seatedthen lock in place by tightening the Allen set screw(Loctlte 242 blue medium strength)
