SECTION 05 SUB-SECTION 03, (DRIVE PULLEY)
REMOVAL
With engIOe cold, remove spark plug(s) then bring PTO, (Power Take Off) piston at T,D,C(Top Dead Center) positionRotate drive pulley 45 clockwise then insert enough starter rope into cylinder to fill it completely, WARNING: Spring pressure can force assembly apart; therefore, it is imperative that the governor cup be held firmly during governor retaining bolt removalIf necessary to remove fixed hall, slide length of steel pipe over shaftAttach with 516" nut and bolt, as illustratedThe fixed half can then be removed with pipe wrench, Apply Loctite 242 or equivalent on threads then torque nuts to 14Nom (10 It-Ibs)CAUTION: Do not disassemble counterweithtunless replacement is necessaryAs required, maximum of two (2)Used to obtain neutral function of the drive pulley when engIOe is Idlingrefer to INSTALLATION)Used to obtalO correct pulley alignment, refer to section 05-05
