OIL INJECTION PUMP CLEANING
Clean all metal components in non-ferrous metal cleaner
OIL INJECTION PUMP ADJUSTMENT
A) Prior to adjusting the pump, make sure all carburetor adjustments are completedEliminate the throttle cable free play by pressing the throttle lever until light resistance is felt, then hold In place(A small rubber band can be used)The aligning marks on the pump casting and on the lever must alignIf not, loosen the adluster nut and adlust accordingly Retighten the adluster nut

NOTE: Oil pump components are not available as single parts
, CAUTION: On electric start models, it is 'If' recommended to install black rubber lines (P 414 2867) that will not be altered by battery fumesAt assembly, always check for clamp tightnesslTo remove retaining nutlock gear in place using no420876690 tool
