CLEANING
Discard all gasketsClean all metal cleanercomponents in non-ferrous metal
Piston to cylinder wall clearance should be:
Minimum Maximum
0.0650.200 mm (.0026")(008")
Scrape off carbon formation from cylinder exhaust portcylinder head and piston dome using wooden spatula
NOTE: The letters "AUS" (over an arrow on the piston dome) must be visible after cleaning
NOTE: Once the circlips are installed turn each circlip so the circlip break is not directly on piston notchRemove any burrs on piston caused through circlip installation with very fine emery cloth
Clean the piston ring grooves with groove cleaner toolor with piece of broken ring
