TWO CYLINDER BREAKER POINTS ENGINE
4GEN ERATOR COIL OUTPUT
1Disconnect bluered and black wires from terminal (15) of PTO side ignition coilDisconnect the two (2) blue ires from terminal (1) of magneto sid ign ition coilMake sure that neither co nnector touches the eng ine (ground)2Conneet tester lead to bluered and black ires previously disconnected Connect lead to good engine groundBlu e red
5 .LlGHTING COIL OUTPUT
NOTE: On some eng ine types covered by this test an additional lighting co il is connected in parallel with the main lighting coil; in this case, the test will determine if the whole assembly is working right or notIf test appears to be negative, each compo nent must be checked separately
1Di sconnect wiring harness junction block at engine2 Connect tester lead as illu strated using two (2) harn ess adaptors
