6Ignition timing can change upon tightening therefore, rotate the magneto counter-clockwise 14 of turn and slowly turn the magneto back in clockwise direction As soon as the timing marks align the timing light should fluctuateor the tone signal level should varyReadjust if necessary

Too early: Turn armature plate clockwi se
Too late: Increase point gap
