CLEANING
Clean all metal components in non -ferrous metal cleaner CA UTI ON: Clea armature and magneto using only clea clothWi th magneto retaining nut removed, install special puller onto hold -on supportTighte puller bolt and at same timetap on bolt head using hammer to release magneto from its taper
DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
CD Whenever coil is replaced, the air gap (distance between coil end and magnet) must be adjustedTo check air gap, insert feeler gauge of 0.30-0.45 mm (,012" -.018") between magnet and coil endsIf necessary to adjust, slacken coil retaining screws and re locate coilv:.fISpecial puller
