Round out punch marks to permit new bushing to fit in
In order to measu re driven pul ley sp ring tension, the pulley halves mus be separatedTo do this, insert leng th of 1 8" diarod between the halvesCheck ten sion using fish sca le positioned 90 with pulley axle(Refer to Technical Data for correc spring tension)
Clean the seat with Bombardier Stripper No 57Coat the seat with Loctite No 271 (high strength) redInstall new bushing (gently tap in place) Secure bushing in place by punching the bu shing shoulder rib (as illu strated) To co rrect spring tens ion either relocate spring end in sliding pu ll ey halfor gradua ll rotate outer cam
