For proper drive belt use, See Techn ica DataIf drive belt does not have the minimum recommended width, performance wi ll be affected
Drive Belt Removal
WARNINGNever start or run engine without the drive belt installedRunning an unloaded engine is dang erous
Adjust belt tension as follows:
"V" Belt tension tester method414 3482 00
1Slide lower "0" ring of deflection distance sca le to 32 mm (1 1 4")
1Tilt th ca and remove th belt guard
2Open the driven pulley by twi sting and push ing the slidin halfHold in fully open pos ition
