SECTION 01 SUB-SECTION 05 (TRACK)
(To correct track tension, loosen link plate spring lock nuts on inner side of link plate springsTurn adjuster bolts clockwise to tighten track or counter-clockwise to slackenTighten link plate spring lock nuts
Install drive axleIf applicable, install rear axleInstall suspension systemCarry out track tension and alignment procedure
TRACK TENSIONALIGNMENT
Track tension and alignment are inter-relatedDo not adjust one without checking the otherTrack tension procedure must be carried out prior to track alignment
Tension (Slide Suspension)
With rear of vehicle blocked off the ground, check track tension as indicated in Technical Data (section 08, 01-02)Deflection should be measured between slider shoe and bottom inside of track
Tension (Bogie wheel), all except Alpine
