TEST NO.2 IGNITION COIL INSULATION 1Connect the black test lead to terminal no15 of the ignition coil2Connect the red test lead to terminal no1 of ignition coii3Plug the Insulation Test Probe into "jack" located at the front of analyser4Turn selector switch to position NO.1COIL POWER TEST5Turn current control knob to obtain maximum current readingCaution: Do not exceed maximum meter reading
6Pass the Insulation Test Probe tip over the insulating surface of the coil and spark plug wire If coil insulation is cracked, leaking or damaged, spark discharge will be noted at the cracked or leaking surfaceCaution: Do not allow test probe to linger at anyone point during test operationComplete test as fast as possible as this is severe test for coil
