MERC-OTRONIC 5On models equipped with an external high tension coil, carry out the following procedure: a) Connect the black test lead to terminal == 15 of the external coilb) Connect the red test lead to the spark plug terminal of the coil (fig3-4-7)
TEST NO3 IGNITION COIL RESISTANCE TEST (SECONDARY) 1Turn selector witch to position No3 COIL CONTINUITY2Temporarily attach the red and black test leads together3Turn meter adjustment knob for scale No.3 until pointer aligns with set position "0" on right side of scaleDisconnect leads4On models equipped with an internal high tension coil, carry out the following procedure: Connect black test lead to coilcore (ground)b) Connect red test lead to spark plug terminal (fig3-4-6)a)
