1-15-16 14On electric models, install battery15Connect throttle cable to throttle leverLock throttle housing with circlip16On 640ER models, install kill button17Install brake cable and adjust brake18Proceed to ski alignmentInstall console19Grease ski legs at grease fittings STEERING SYSTEM 8Measure the distance from upper edge of lower retainer plate to the upper column bracketThe distance should be approximately 15-12 inches (fig1-15-40)9Position steering column in locationAffix upper retainer plate to upper column bracket with two (2) botts10On Valmont models, carry out the following procedures; a) Position the dash panel in location using four (4) nuts and two (2) dash panel bracketsNOTE: Ensure brake cable bracket is positioned
on top left hand stud of dash panel
INSTALLATION (Alpine and Valmont Models) 1Install ski on ski leg2Insert the ski leg into ski leg holderNOTE: Ensure the ski top pivot is facing towards the front bumper3Position spring, steering arm and washer on ski leg splines and affix using boltTorque bolt to 45-50 ftllbs4Position the upper column in location and attach to frame using two (2) bolts5Apply low temperature grease into the steering arm channel6Position steering column in location with the ball bushing inserted into steering arm channel7Place the lower retainer plate over steering column and affix the plate to the steering support using two (2) bolts
