115-12 4Attach the right hand ball joint (spherical on TNT models), to steering armsOn T'NT models, install new tab locks STEERING SYSTEM steering arm orifices, turn each steering arm to splines so that tie rod ends are aligned with orificesThe steering arm angles should be equal on both sides when the skis are parallel with the vehicle5Secure the left hand tie rod end in place using spring, washer and new cotter pin6Insert right hand tie rod into steering arm and place the swivel lock, spring and washer on tie rod endSecure in place using new cotter pin7Insert the tie rod end of the upper tie rod through swivel block and secure using new cotter pin (fig1-15-29)
ASSEMBLY (Alpine and Valmont Models) 1Screw the transmission rod ball onto transmission rodPosition the rod in location and affix using two (2) bolts2Slide the spring, transmission bracket and washer onto rod and secure using new cotter pinAffix the transmission bracket to upper column using appropriate bolt3Temporarily affix the ball bushing to steering arms using appropriate Allen head boltAdjust the bolt until there is approximately 14 inch free play existing between ball bushing and steering arm (fig1-15-28)New cotter pins
