STEERING SYSTEM
3Remove the bolt attaching transmission bracket to upper column and remove cotter pin, washer, bracket and spring from transmission rod (fig1-15-22)
NOTE: The tie rod end attached to the steering column incorporates left hand threads while the tie rod end attached to the steering arms has right hand threadsAll T'NT models incorporate spherical ball jointsDISASSEMBLY (Alpine and Valmont Models) 1Slide the steering shaft from the steering column (fig1-15-20)4Remove the two (2) bolts attaching transmission rod to upper column and remove the rodRemove transmission rod ball
DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY OF HAN DLEBAR (All Models) 1Disconnect brake, throttle cable and housings from the handlebar2Using 316 inch diadrill, remove the rivets securing the hand handles to handlebar (fig1-15-23)
