STEERING SYSTEM 1-15-07 15Slacken lock nuts of upper tie rod, remove ball joints from tie rod16Remove ski leg top bushingPull ski legski assembly from vehicleRemove ski leg bottom bushing17Using pair of adjustable pliers secure leaf springs and remove spring coupler nuts and spring coupler bolts (fig1-15-13)
12Remove upper tie rodRemove nuts securing lower tie rod to steering anns (fig1:.15-11)Remove the rod
13Remove steering arms from ski legsRemove washer, spacer and washer from ski leg splinesNOTE: Should the steering ann be too tight on the ski leg splines, loosen nut until flush with ski leg thread and tap gently on the ski leg head using soft faced hammer(Front of vehicle must be raised from the ground for this operation)14Slacken lock nuts of lower tie rodRemove ball joints and lower tie rod from vehicle (fig1-15-12)
