BRAKE MECHANISM
GENERAL
There are three {3} types of brakes installed on Ski-Doo snowmobiles; pivot, drum and disc type(a) Pivot: mechanical pivoting arrangement consisting of swivel plate and handle plate secured to the chain case bracketThe swivel plate which incorporates the brake lining, pivots to bear against the driven pulley when the brake cable is activated thereby de creasing vehicle speed
