DRIVE BELT
CAUSE Excessive slippage caused by: a) Insufficient pressure on belt sides b) Rusted drive or driven pulley shafts c) Oil on pulley surfaces

Check drive pulley for worn or missing pressure leverClean shaft with steel wool and lubricate with Ski-Doc clutch lubeClean pulley surfaces with fine emery cloth and clean clothInstall correct governor
CAUSE a) Excessive slippage due to irregular outward actuation movement of drive pulley b) Rough or scratched pulley surfaces c) Improper belt angle

REMEDY a) Carry out inspection as detailed in sub section 1-8b) c) Repair or replace pulleyUsing unspecified type of beltReplace belt with correct Bombardier belt
