1-07-01 Transmission
DRIVE BELT
GENERAL
The function of the drive belt is to transmit power from drive pulley to driven pulleyAlways inspect the drive belt whenever the vehicle is undergoing maintenance and repair procedures or when performance of vehicle is unsatisfactoryand ferruleRemove the two (2) bolts securing the brake assembly to the brake bracket and pivot brake bracket (fig1-7-1)3On all T'NT models except 292, pullout hair cotter pin and remove clevis pin of driven pulley supportRaise driven pulley support (fig1-7-2)4Open driven pulley and pass belt over top
REMOVAL
1Remove pulley guard2On Alpine and Vamont models, disconnect brake cable from lower cable retaining bracket
