1-02-02 REMOVAL 1Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it off the ground2Using link plate spring lever, unhook link plate springs3Release track tension by loosening link plate spring lock nuts and track adjuster bolts until ends of the bolts are flush with the side of the eye bolts4Remove capscrews, washers and nuts securing side members to frame (fig1-2-1) SLIDE SUSPENSION 2Remove the cotter pins and devis pins attaching the front and rear runner tubes3Slide the three (3) rear cross supports from the sliding pads4Using 18 inch disdrill, remove the rivets attaching the stop bondings to the rear cross support (fig1-2-3)
5With capscrews, washers and nuts removed, the complete slide suspension assembly can be withdrawn from the track
5Remove bolts securing sliders to support and remove the sleeves6Remove bolts securing front cross support to front runner tube and remove the sleeves
