REAR SUSPENSIONTRACKTRACTION Track Tension
Tension adjustments should be made only after the track is warmed up and limberAlways inspect track alignment after track tension adjustment1Turn the machine off2Lift the rear of the machine and safely support it off the Hi-fax ground3Place 10 lb(4.5 kg) downward pressure on the track at point approximately 16 (40.6 cm) ahead of the center of the rear idler wheel (D)4Check for 38-12 (1-1.3 cm) slack between the inside of the track clip and the Hi-Fax (C)NOTE: Measure at the point where the weight is hangingB If the track needs adjustment: 5Loosen rear idler shaft bolts (D) on both sides of the machine6Loosen track adjusting bolt locknuts (A)7Tighten or loosen the track adjusting bolts (B) evenly as necessary to obtain proper track tension8Tighten idler shaft bolts and adjuster bolt locknutsC Track 10 lbWeight (4.5 kg)
