There are unlimited combinations in clutchingThe best way to find the ideal set up for you is to test and experimentRemember that no two machines are alikeTo clutch your machine properly you need to know at what RPM your engine puts out its peak performanceThe best way to find this out is to put your engine on DynoIf this is not possible, you can get the information from your manufacturer or dealerAssume your engine reaches peak power at 9000 RPMYou want to clutch your machine so the engine goes from clutch engagement RPM to 9000 RPM as quickly as possible without exceeding 9000 RPM, and staying at 9000 RPM until the clutches reach 1:1 ratioThe difference between OEM clutching and race clutching would look something like the example shown belowWhen clutching do not be afraid to experiment
