Drive and Brake Systems 17Install the driveshaft by replacing the flange nuts on the drive sideTorque to specification31Adjust track tension to the specified tension32Reinstall the chassis components and exhaust system
Driveshaft Flange Nuts: 17ft-lbs (23 Nm) 18Torque the jackshaft flange nuts to specification
Chaincase SealBearing Replacement
1Remove the chaincase as described2Pry out the old seals from the back side of the chaincase3Remove bearing retaining snap rings4Press out the old bearings from the back side of the chaincase so that the bearings drop out of the frontIf the bearing pushes out hard, warm the area to expand the chaincase bore slightlyNOTE: When removing always push out the bearing towards the snap ring side of the chaincase5Clean the chaincase6Apply Loctite 680 to the outer race of the new bearings and press them into the chaincase from the snap ring sideNOTE: Press on the bearing outer race only7Replace the snap rings8Press in new seals in the back of the chaincase until the outer edge of the seal is flush with the chaincase shoulder
