The fuel level sender resistance can be checked using multitester set to read resistance (OHMS)Measure resistance at the fuel pump harness connector between pin (WHITEBLACK) and pin (PINKBLACK)ARM UPGAUGE READING FULL8 FLOAT HEIGHT FROM BOTTOM OF TANK345.3mm +-16.4 ARM MIDDLEGAUGE READING 1240.7+- 1.5 FLOAT HEIGHT FROM BOTTOM OF TANK213.2mm +- 23.2 ARM DOWNGAUGE READING EMPTY91.5 +- 1.5 FLOAT HEIGHT FROM BOTTOM OF TANK89.6mm +- 20.8 4Once the tank is pressurized, saturate the area around the PFA gasket with mixture of water and mild detergent5If any bubbles form, re-check the PFA nut torqueIf bubble formation continues, the PFA gasket will have to be replaced, or tank replacement is requiredNOTE: There may be bubbles present from the initial application of leak detectorBlow on the bubbles to pop themWatch for new bubble formationNew bubble formation may be very small so look closelyApply additional waterdetergent solution if required
