Maintenance 7Depressurize the fuel systemRemove the filter from the airbox bracketDisconnect the fuel supply hose from the fuel pump flange using disconnect toolCLOSE COVER TO SECURE RETURN HOSE FUEL RETURN HOSE
12Reconnect the supply hose to the fuel pump flangeVerify an audible "click" is heard and the connections are secure by firmly pulling on the two hose connectionsPush the filter cartridge back into the bracket13Inspect the hoses making sure none are worn or damaged14Reinstall the clutch coverTorque cover nuts to specification15Reconnect the ECU wiring harness connectors16Install the ECU bracket onto the oil tankReinstall the oil tankTorque mount screw to specification
FUEL FILTER MOUNTS HERE
17Reinstall the drive beltReplace the hood and door panels
8Remove the bottom fuel fitting clamp on the fuel rail9Carefully remove the fuel hose fitting from the fuel railHave clean shop rag at hand to absorb any fuel that leaks from the fittingDispose of rag properly when finished
