Maintenance 7Inspection: Inspect the guillotine for signs of damageReplace guillotine if damage is foundInspect the cylinder and piston for damage if guillotine is damaged Inspect the springReplace if rusted, damaged, or bent Inspect bellowsReplace if damaged or excessively worn Submerse the assembly in parts cleanerThoroughly flush the EV housing base, bellows, and mating surfacesVerify no carbon is in the gas transfer ports9Inspect the VES gas ports on the cylinder(s) for blockageRemove the spark plugs and use piston inspection light to illuminate the port(s)CLEAN GAS TRANSFER PORT
10Light must be seen through the VES gas port(s)If port appears to be blocked, use compressed air or long .075" drill bit to clean the portNOTE: Do not drill hole marked: "X"
