Shocks Walker Evans Air Shock Disassembly
IMPORTANT: Verify the protective outer boot is not torn or damagedIf damaged, inspect the shock shaft for damageReplace shock shaft if damage is foundBODY CAP SERVICE PORT

7If valve shim service or adjustment is done, torque the piston retaining bolt to specification
Piston Retaining Bolt: 25-30 ft-lb (34-41 Nm) 8Replace the wiper seal, u-cup seal and o-ring with new parts
BUTTON HEAD SCREW

CAUTION
Take note of the orientation of the seal head sealsUse soft-faced tool like pen or similar object to install the o-ring and sealsRETAINING BOLT

1Place the specified amount of fluid into the shock body

COMPRESSION VALVE STACK

CAUTION
Do not overfill the shock oil levelToo much shock oil may cause the shock rod to hydrolock
