5If erratic jumps or gaps are encountered, inspect the wiring at the sensor and ECU connectorInspect the harness terminal pin inside the ECU connector6If no wiring problems are found, inspect the TPSVerify the TPS is securely mounted to the throttle bodyIf it is loose, it will have to be re-adjusted by following the Digital Wrench TPS Replacement Procedure7Replace the TPS if steps and do not resolve the issueFollow the Digital Wrench TPS Replacement Procedure
7Secure the jam nut, and reinstall the air box assemblyClose the hood8Re-test the vehicle and note the change in engine idle speedRepeat steps through if further adjustment is required
