Fuel Systems 9Tape exposed wire and splices
Throttle BodyThrottle Position Sensor (TPS)

10Apply oil to the fuel injector o-rings, seal and mating surfaces11Remove the protective capsInstall the injector(s) into the fuel railVerify the injector(s) are fully seated12Insert the fuel rail, with injectors into the engine13Apply light amount of 262 Loctite to the fuel rail fasteners and torque to specification
Throttle Body RemovalInstallation: 1Remove the air box2Remove the throttle body air box adapter if equipped3Pinch off the coolant lines with the hose pincher tool PN PU-45149Remove the coolant hoses from the throttle body4Loosen the intake boot clamps and pull the throttle body upward to gain access to the throttle cable and TPS connector5Loosen the throttle cable lock nuts and remove the cable from the throttle body6Disconnect the TPS harness connector7Remove throttle bodyNOTE: Service replacement throttle body assemblies have the TPS already installedNo TPS adjustment is required8Reinstall the throttle body assemblyTorque throttle body boot clamps to specification9Turn the throttle cable inline adjuster clockwise until bottom-out10Install throttle cable on to throttle bodyAdjust the jam nutsVerify the throttle cable is not pulling on the throttle plate camTighten jam nuts11Reinstall the cooling hoses and remove the pincher tools12Reinstall the air box adapter plate if equippedReinstall the air box assembly13Install the throttle cable into the throttle leveruse the inline adjuster to set the throttle lever free play to specification
