Fuel Systems Fuel Pressure Gauge Adapters

Disconnect Fittings
The fuel hoses feature disconnect fittings that require special tools to removeThe fuel line disconnect tool kit, PS-47152, supplies both 516 and 38 quick disconnect toolThese tools are also commercially available at local auto parts storesPS-47152
1To disconnect fuel hose from the fuel pump, or fuel rail, insert the tapered end of either the 516 or 38 tool into the female housing2Firmly press the tool into the housing while carefully pulling the male hose out3Reconnect the fuel hoses by coating each hose end with light film of two stroke engine oil4Carefully install the male end of the hose into the center of the female housingFirmly push the hoses together until the male nozzle fully seats behind the spring tabs5Grasp both hoses and gently pull to verify positive engagement
