Chassis Electrical System Suspension Position
Output signal of suspension position is 10hz pwm, 10-90 on time (ON=pulled to ground)position (softest) corresponds to 10 on time: position corresponds to 20 on time; etcto position 9, which corresponds to 90 on timeWhile suspension is in motion, signal should alternate between the selected position and the current suspension position, Signal pulses should be transmitted for 0.5 seconds (5 pulses) at the selected position, and then signal pulses should be transmitted for 0.5 seconds (5 pulses) at the current suspension positionThe alternating of the signal pulses should continue until the current position and the selected position are the same
ACE Important Notes
Special Tools- modified battery post puller is required to pull the gear on the potentiometerIf any axial play is present in the potentiometer shaft after removing the gear, the potentiometer must be replacedLoctite 480 is required when replacing either of the plastic gears in the ACE motorMake sure that no Loctite gets on the gear teethTiming of the Ace gears ANYTIME the module is serviced, the potentiometer must be timed with the main clevis12Turn the large bevel gear clockwise until the screw shaft is fully seated in the clevis (fully in the soft position)Assemble the motor to the housing at this time to keep the gear and clevis from movingIf the motor is already installed, jog the motor by bumping the left hand switch with 12 volts until you achieve the fully soft positionTurn the potentiometer until the resistance between the WHITE and BLACK wires is 107 +- ohmsInstall the small plastic gear and allow time for the Loctite 480 to dry before operating
