FSFST Engine 19Insert pry bar between the crankcase and alternatorPull until the drive belt cannot be twisted more than 90 degrees in either directionTorque alternator pivot bolt and upper alternator support bolt to specification listed at beginning of chapterflywheel outer bearing surfaceHold the crankshaft stationary with the crankshaft arrestorRemove the flywheel5Verify the flywheel locating pin is not sheared or damagedTo remove the pin, either carefully grasp the pin with pair of wire cutters, or push the pin into the crankshaft boreNOTE: When using heat, do not dis-color the flywheel bearing surface
NOTE: The crankshaft locating pin is used only to locate the flywheel position during flywheel installation
