SUSPENSION WideTrak Rear Suspension Adjustments Rear Spring Settings
Rear spring adjustment is primarily control for riding comfortTo check for the recommended settings: 1Lift the rear of the machine to relieve the rear springs2Slowly lower the machine and measure the distance between the ground and the running board3Without letting the suspension settle, the rider should carefully mount the snowmobile4Measure the distance between the ground and the same spot on the running boardThe difference between the two readings should be approximately 12 (3.8 cm)If the difference is greater than 12the rear spring should be adjusted equally on both sides until the desired 12 drop is obtainedCompensating adjustments for heavy or light drivers or cargo loads can be made by adjusting the rear spring eye bolt (A) lengthAdjust spring tension so there is equal tension on the long leg of each spring
