BODYSTEERING Steering Adjustment
To ensure accurate adjustment of the CRC steering mechanism, all steps listed below must be performed in sequential orderS Spindle to Chassis Centering (must also be checked after adjustment) Set-Up Width adjustment(must also be checked after adjustment) Camber Adjustment Handlebar Centering Toe Adjustment Verify Spindle to Chassis Centering and Set-up width are within limits 1Securely support the front of the machine high enough to remove the skisMake sure machine is level2Remove skis3Perform Spindle Centering found on page 6.64Set Up Width Measurement found on page 6.6WARNING

This is the maximum allowable distance between ski spindle centers with front end of vehicle off the ground and suspension fully extendedThe maximum set up width specifications listed on page 6.3 are maximum width measurements, and are critical to ensure adequate thread engagement of steering tie rod and radius rod endsIf the suspension is set too wide, the torsion bar can come loose and interfere with steeringDo not attempt to set the suspension wider than the specified Maximum Set Up Width
