MAINTENANCE WARNING

Inspect the condition of the drive beltInspect clutch sheaves for damage, wear, or belt residueClean with non-oil base cleaner such as isopropyl alcoholTo ensure belt life, install belts so they operate in the same direction of rotationPosition the identification numbers so that you can read them standing on left side of machineThis will keep the belt rotating in the same directionIf belt has been operated with numbers readable from right side of machine, re-install belt in this direction
Driven Belt Removal Polaris Electric ReverseTEAM Clutches
1Be sure the unit was in forward gear and turn key switch so it is off and the engine has come to complete stopRemove the retaining pin and open the clutch guard2Apply brake (or lock parking brake if so equipped)3Polaris Electric Reverse Control equipped models: Remove one of the three belt tensioner adjuster boltsNow locate the 12" long bolt from the tool kit and thread it into the open holeTighten the bolt until the sheaves open far enough to remove the beltTEAM equipped models: Locate the "L" wrench in the tool kit and insert into the threaded holeScrew in wrench until the sheaves open far enough to remove the belt
