The intake foam filter limits snow ingestion into the intake systemWhen operating in loose powder snow, check top of foam filter periodically to remove any accumulation of snowCAUTION: Do not operate machine with the intake filters removedThis can cause carburetor icing resulting in poor fuel economy or carburetor malfunction
